This is where my passion lays. The Mistral is a renound wind which blows down the Rhone Valley in France. Often it blows in after a storm and hangs around for days on end. Atributing the Mistral to this series notes that the varieties are based around the Rhone Valley. Think Marsanne, Grenache, Syrah and dry Rosé. Kind of what the wind blew in.
"Upper" Yarra Valley Series
Having worked for, and made wine for many esteemed producers in the Yarra Valley since 2012, I decided to create a range which reflected my influences and understanding of the Yarra. This focuses around the elegant and sophisticated growing area of the "Upper" Yarra Valley. Think Pinot and Chardonnay with more varieties to come.
"Zero Additions" Range
Here is my take on wine with no rules. Making some interesting wines which are a little left of centre to what my typical style is, allows me to experiment, learn and have a little extra fun.
