The Grapes were grown just outside of the town of Healesville in what is known as Long Gully. This narrow gully runs north-south where the Cabernet Sauvignon vineyard is planted on the base of the eastern side of the gully. The situation of the vineyard means the sun exposure is reduced as the sun must rise above the range in the morning, and also set early over the western range. The cool climate conditions allow for slow and gentle ripening meaning a medium bodied wine where delicate flavours are retained.
